Ezinearticles was where I posted my very first article. It seems so long ago now, where in truth it was probably only around ten months ago. This directory was recommended to me by a friend who is a jobs in foster care expert and he also offers Voucher Codes. In my opinion is certainly one of the best. Each article is reviewed before being accepted, this is not true of many of the other directories, especially the newer sites.

I have noticed many of my own articles appearing in the main search engines, some after only a few days of being published. One of the first articles I submitted was called stuttering and its effects, this article is still placed in the top ten of google after many months.

If you are only planning on submitting your article to one directory this is the one I would advise that you use.

Many people, including a business contact who writes articles about obtaining cheap calls, have told me that they prefer to use goarticles when looking for an article to add to their site. This would have to be one of the main reasons why I always publish my articles on this article marketing website.

Articlealley

The thing I like about articlealley is that they also include the article you submit to them on one or two of the sister sites. What is more you do not even have to do any additional work. Additional exposure is always good.

Articledasboard

I been reading on some of the SEO forums that this particular directory could be the next "big thing"; I will keep my eye on its progress. The site has a page rank of six which is always a good sign.

Ideamarketers

This directory is my fifth choice in order of merit and has many interesting articles.

It is hard to know how many of these directories people should be submitting their article to. I have been given lots of different advice on this subject and have decided to come up with my own conclusion. I personally normally submit my articles to around twenty of these sites but always the five above.

Re-writing or spinning is almost the same thing. The resulting content is not completely new, sometimes only minor modifications are performed, yet, these changes suffice for submission on your business site, even if they are not enough for article marketing. Duplicate content is not acceptable for submission to web directories, therefore, you need to take the modifications of the articles to a deeper level.

From the perspective of article marketing, spinning brings modifications of titles, key phrases, paragraph beginnings and endings, new sentence structures and much much more. Software tools now assist web developers in the attempt to better cope with spinning tasks. There are automatic article spinners like www.articleapps.com that will produce new content starting from text variations included in the text.

If you manage to spin all the original articles that you write or outsource, you will be able to get dozens of new materials to submit to web directories for the purpose of generating backlinks. For people new to article marketing, or those who have limited means, Article marketer’s free account or Isnare is advised.  If you have the financial means and require sending a large number of articles, go with My Article Network it is the kind of the hill.

Article Marketing is a excellent way to get free Search engine traffic . Article marketing can be a very rewarding website traffic generator but you need to have a article marketing plan in place to be successful. Your plan must include a set number of articles to publish per month. The most important element of a article marketing plan is follow through. Don’t get side tracked with excuses.

Concentrate on using keyword phrases that are two and three words in length.} To be honest with you I have never done very well with single keywords in my articles. It has been my experience that single keywords do not score high for me on the search engines. If you have a low advertising budget, like most of us, I would like to suggest an excellent free keyword phrase generator that is offered by Google adwords. This service is free and you do not need to deposit any money. Type in a single keyword that is associated with your “niche” market. Adwords will generate a list of two and three keyword phrases for you. Make sure you download or copy this list for future use when you are writing your articles.

#3 Start writing articles that use some of the keyword phrases from your list . I typically will focus on using three different phrase for each article. As a rule of thumb I try to write articles that concentrate on three keyword phrases. Each new article I write concentrates on 3 new keyword phrases or a variation of existing ones I have used. When you are writing your articles make sure that you do not repeat your keyword phrase but every 100 words. For example, if I were going to write an article that included “crappie fishing” in my first paragraph , then I could not repeat this phrase for 100 words. There are some twists you could use like mixing it up and instead of using “crappie fishing you could use “crappie angling” Its up to you. Just don’t repeat the same phrase in a 100 word count, the search engines penalize you for doing so and your article will not score well. There are ways to write your article using key word phrases without compromising the quality of your article so always proof read your article at least several times before publishing.

#4 Create a list of article directories to submit your article too. There are some steps to this that I recommend you use because all article directories are not created equal. You need to build a list of directories that prioritized by their Google rankings. First thing you need to do is go to Google and type in “article directory” in the search box. The results will give you 1000’nds of sites to use in your list development. I Do suggest two very important article sites that are worth mentioning that you should put at the top of your list, and they are ezinearticles.com and Searchwarp.com. I use a free Google ranking tool that is simple to use to locate each sites ranking. Just go to Google and do a search using the keyword phrase “Google website ranking tools” this should bring up a list of sites that offer this tool. Or you can contact me and I send you the link to the tool I use. Concentrate your list on rankings of “6”,”5”,”4”,”3” . Article directories with these rankings will get you the most website traffic.
